Elizabeth Burritt

Originally from Ontario, Elizabeth Buritt is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice includes ceramics, illustration, jewellery and design. Her ceramics are crafted primarily out of polished, unglazed porcelain, and embellished with hand-painted imagery. Inspired by local landscapes both urban and rural, the images are painted and drawn with permanent ceramic pigment and high-fired into the work. Her education includes a diploma in editorial illustration from Sheridan College and a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
